Stand assistant
Our friendly and competent Stand assistances are there for you and your guests for the entire day of the fair, up to nine hours including a half-hour break.
They have a confident demeanour, are friendly, professional and happy to support you at your stand. They take care of catering for guests, look after customers and hand out information material or giveaways, for example.
Staff wear their own clothing, either business casual or service clothing (white shirt/blouse, black trousers). If you wish, you can also provide the staff with their own clothing - please let us know in good time.
Our staff speaks fluent German. In addition, they have English level B1 or better.
We will provide the stand personnel with a trade fair ticket for the event site so that you do not have to worry about anything.

Purchase order terms for category Temporary staff
1.1. Deutsche Messe AG accepts orders from exhibitors (hereinafter also referred to as "Customers") via of its subsidiary, event it AG, to lease stand personnel.
1.2 event it AG (hereinafter also referred to as "Agency") shall lease such personnel to Customer pursuant to the law on personnel leasing, which ensures that these individuals report directly to employees of the exhibitor on-site and are integrated into the exhibitor's operations. The provision of temporary personnel under this arrangement requires a written personnel leasing contract between Agency and Customer. Such a personnel leasing contract shall not be deemed an employer-employee relationship between Customer and leased stand personnel.
1.3 The services rendered by the stand personnel categories are set forth in the respective job descriptions.
1.4 All leased stand personnel will be provided with free passes to enter the exhibition grounds.
1.5 After receipt of the order, the Agency will send you information on the stand personnel.
The personnel leasing contract (as shown here for preliminary reference) will be provided to you by the Agency.
Please note that this personnel leasing contract must be received by event it AG in advance, digitally signed, by e-mail. The existence of the contract is a mandatory prerequisite for the provision of personnel.
The contractor undertakes to conduct its cooperation with event it AG on the basis of sustainable, fair and ethical business practices. This is based on the Code of Conduct and the Guiding Principles of event it AG. These can be found at https://www.eventit.ag/coc/
2. Availability, Working Hours
2.1 Stand personnel may be leased by day. A workday consists of up to nine hours including a 30-minute break, for a net 8.5-hour workday.
A briefing day on the day before the fair opens is possible on request. For this, 50% of the regular daily rate will be charged for an assignment of up to 6 hours.
2.2. Customer may not exceed the workday maximum of 10 hours plus a 45-minute break. After working for over six hours, the leased personnel must be given a 30-minute break, plus a further 15-minute break for a workday exceeding nine-hours.
If the agreed duration of employment is exceeded, the additional hours worked will be billed additionally. The total number of hours worked shall be documented by the leased personnel on a timesheet which is to be signed by Customer; this serves as the basis for invoicing.BILLING INFORMATION

Unless otherwise stated, prices are net prices plus statutory VAT.
Only the prices shown on the order form or order screen on the day of the order apply. These are also listed in the confirmation of receipt of the order, which the exhibitor automatically receives immediately after placing his order.
All prices quoted are valid for workdays only (Monday - Saturday) between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. The following surcharges apply to working hours outside of these hours:
Holiday surcharge: 100 % added to the respective daily rate.
Sunday surcharge: 50 % added to the respective daily rate.
Nighttime surcharge (11:00 p.m. to 6: a.m.): 25 % added to the hourly rate.
Overtime surcharge (overtime over and above the daily working time of net 8.5 hours) up to 10 hours net: 25 % added to the respective hourly rate.
Cancellation terms for category Temporary staff
You may cancel an order at no cost up to two weeks before the contractual start date. We will bill you the full order price if you cancel at a later date.
